JANUS Displays Launches Flight Systems Touch Screen at the Chicago Hilton O’Hare Airport
June 17, 2008 St. Petersburg, FL -- JANUS Displays are helping travelers obtain flight information on demand with their interactive real time Flight Systems Touch Screen at the Chicago Hilton O’Hare Airport.
Travelers no longer have to wait for flight boards to cycle through and display their flight information. By utilizing a JANUS touch screen, hotel guests can easily sort flight data by airline or destination using their choice of an on-screen keyboard or a menu list.
JANUS Displays is proud to put their interactive technology to work at one of the world’s busiest airports. “The Chicago Hilton O’Hare Airport is an extremely busy property and we are very excited to launch our Flight Systems Touch Screen there,” said, Sharon Morrow, President of Morrow Technologies, the maker of JANUS Displays.
The Chicago Hilton O’Hare has 65 meeting rooms and has been recognized by the meeting planning industry as the Best Airport Hotel in the country. “When a guest finds their flight is delayed, they stay in the property and use our facilities rather than waiting in the airport” said Norman Kahan, Director of Technology Services.
Travelers can view real time flight data on 11 touch screen displays placed throughout the property. In addition to the touch screens, the Chicago Hilton O’Hare has 2 static displays and 65 LED room boards throughout their property.
The JANUS touch screens not only display flight information, they advertise hotel restaurants, display meeting schedules and provide an interactive map of the property.
