June 7, 2011 – St. Petersburg, Florida – JANUS Displays announced today the release of an interface that enables users to access concierge services from any handheld tablet device. An extension of the ingenious JANUS Concierge Board, the mobile interface is the latest product to be offered by JANUS. With one quick update, the concierge board will synchronize to any mobile device, enabling users to access all of the content displayed on a property’s concierge board.
Released in mid 2010, the JANUS Concierge Board puts flight check-in and boarding pass printing, flight arrival and departure information, weather forecasts, property maps, on-site amenity information, restaurant reservations, daily event schedules, and Bing™ mapping, all on one touch screen. This new feature makes it possible for properties to provide meeting planners with a mobile tablet containing all of the concierge board information.
